CWA Local 2202 was chartered in 1950 to represent employees of C&P Telephone Company in the cities of Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and Suffolk.

We are affiliated with AFL-CIO, the Virginia State AFL-CIO, the Greater Hampton Roads Central Labor Council, the A. Philip Randolph Institute, the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, the Coalition of Labor Union Women, and Pride at Work.
